Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Yuma, AZ
Help your child build confidence through learning, practice, and being part of a team. Our youth program gives kids a place to develop grappling skills and learn how to be thoughtful training partners.

Confidence built through practice
Jiu-jitsu gives children manageable challenges: learning a new position, working with a partner, and trying again when a movement does not work. Progress comes from showing up and building skills over time.
Listening to instruction, respecting a partner’s tap, and taking care of the mats are part of training. These habits give discipline a practical purpose.
A class with purpose
Our approach combines instruction, games, and live situations. Students practice movement, control, escapes, and decisions with a partner instead of only memorizing a sequence.
Youngling classes serve ages 5–7 and Padawan classes serve ages 8–12. The schedule also includes Jawa Kids No-Gi, invite-only Jedi Kids Gi, and Kids Competition Prep.
Competition is an opportunity
Students interested in competing can work toward that goal with their coaches. Competition is optional: your child can train, learn, and belong without entering a tournament.
